Great food and cosy atmosphere .. A nice break from busy jalan ubud!

My best experience with food in ubud. Food was simply delicious- no parking, ju ned to park at street- food is expensive but definitelly worth it- clean- lovely and professional services- live sports streaming- comfortable seats- terrace seatingnice place, if you have free time in ubud come here and have a rest. really nice place.

Very nice food and presentation of food!

We had breakfast complimentary here as part of our stay in the hotel behind it (Meruhdani).Nasi Goreng is 5/5. Mie Goreng 4/5. Juices great.We also had our romantic dinner food from here. Starter (prawn) and Mains (fish) were good. Chocolate desert was not good.

We had a great meal here. Friendly staff and delicious food. We had the berry smoothie, and a Bolognese and carbonara. They were all fantastic. Carbonara wasn't too creamy, very Italian style! No photos as we didn't have our phones on us but it all looked great too.

Portions were a bit small, but the food was good. Staff very kind, oveall a cozy atmosphere.

Staff was friendly but the food was terrible, rendang portion was tiny and tasted like lamb stew, really bad gelatinous cuts of meat used. The tuna steak was really, really overcooked, it was hard to even chew. Disappointed... and then smacked with a service charge and taxes on top. Outrageous prices, not worth it at all.

Staff was great always friendly loved to stop in for Afternoon tea or dinner between my classes. They even have you a small snack as you decided what you wanted for your meal.

I didn’t eat - just watched the World Cup, but the staff are so kind! 5 stars for loveliness!

Very disappointing after reading some of the reviews. The portion sizes are way too small for a main meal. The pork belly was two small pieces of pork, barely even entree size. It was served with two small pieces of corn on the cob, which wasn’t properly cooked and a bit of salad. Definitely won’t be going back. Even when we told the waitress she didn’t seem interested in our comments.

Good service and reasonably priced food and drink. Nice atmosphere, raised up from street level. Had football on the TV which pleased the bf, and the volume was off which pleased me!

This is an AMAZING RESTAURANT. Quality/price maybe the best in Ubud. The service,the good quality of ingredients, the taste...are the same of much more expensive restaurants here. The fish is very good, grilled vegetables super, dessert very tasty. 10+++

Came for free breakfast from hotel stay, and their Indonesia fried rice/ yellow noodle turns out to be amazing!

This restaurant is a joke. Ordered a breakfast that cost Rp 69 (toast, mushroom, tomato, bacon, eggs and jam) and the portion size was shocking. My plate consisted of 1 single cherry tomato the size of my thumb nail, a literal QUARTER of a tiny mushroom, 1 small piece of bacon, a tiny piece of bread and eggs. I asked where the rest of the mushroom was and received the other 3 quarters of it. This meal barely scraped the surface. Dont ever come here, it's practically theft.

Such a lovely place in a side street. Very good Balinese and international food. Good prices aswell. The portions are quite small but still good. The waitresses are so lovely

If you hang out with your friends to ubud don't forget to go to Semu Jaen. Everything is delicious here. My fav is their carbonara. Very tasty and cheesy. Staff very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also comfortable. The location to get to this place is very easy and close to the center of Ubud. Good restaurant with very affordable prices. Btw, they also provide coffee. Must try!

Lovely romantic spot for dinner. The atmosphere here compared to some other bars and reaturants around this area was calm and layed back. Each table was full and yet the waitresses were not phased. They let us take our time before ordering and always had a smile in their face.The food was served quite quickly, it tasted delicious, shame the portions were quite dainty but well presented.The music wasn't to my taste, a little too much bass for the kind of joint it was.We really enjoyed our experience there and would considder returning again

We had breakfast there as it was raining and we actually wanted to go to the opposite French breakfast place (which was closed).It's overpriced and might be a good place for dinner but can't recommend for breakfast

Absolutely amazing, came to Bali last year and we ate in that restaurant 3 times, we've just visited Ubud again and went back to Semujaen today, amazing again and it didn't fail to make us content with food at atmosphere. Staff are amazing and always smiling, very good place to chill out and slow down. And the smoothie bowl?! Delicious and healthy!really worth trying guys!

Tourist place....but it`s worthy a visit.

We had a delicious dinner here. An Iced Latte, Sunny Smoothie, Carbonara, Beef Burger and extra side of French fries for $32.00 Australian. All the food was excellent and the service was great. Even included a small complementary snack of sweet potato chips before our drinks arrived. Would recommend.

Good customer service.

The food was great and served in decent portions. The pricing was a bit higher than other places I've eaten around the Ubud area but the staff and the overall feel of the place made it seem worth the money for me. The only criticism I have is that stray dogs kept wondering in and the staff didn't seem that interested in shooing them out. I'm a dog person and love animals in general but they don't have any place sitting in a restaurant. Two started barking at each other inside the restaurant and some of the other customers had to shoo them out because they were near their table. Ruined it a bit for me.
